A set of three figures of an American bomber crew of the Second World War in 1:72 scale: a pilot and two gunners.
Responsibility details are not available.
The crews of American bombers of the Second World War flew at great altitudes, where frost and thin air awaited them, so they dressed in heavy flying equipment and used oxygen gear. Besides the pilot, a large part of the crew was made up of gunners manning the defensive weapons. A trio like this brings a model and a display case to life, because it is only figures beside an aircraft that show how large the machine really was.
Three figures in 1:72 scale: a bomber pilot and two gunners. They suit a bomber model, a scene on an airfield apron and an addition to a display case. Look at the poses of the figures before painting and think about where you will put them, so that together they make a scene that reads clearly instead of just standing side by side.
First wash the figures in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry; paint holds much better on a degreased surface. Cut the excess material and any production marks off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down carefully. Choose the glue according to the material of the figures; on supplementary sets super glue has proved itself. Paint over a primer, in thin coats and from the bottom upwards; leave the faces and hands until last, because they are what decides the result. Bring the deep shadows out with a darker glaze and pick out the edges of the equipment gently with a dry brush.
The aircraft model, the paints and the glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
