The set contains precisely 3D-printed resin parts of the twin MG81Z aircraft machine gun in 1:72 scale from 3DF. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory with which you replace the coarse plastic weapons in defensive gun positions and markedly raise the fidelity of the model.
The MG81Z was a German 7.92 mm aircraft machine gun in a twin installation (two coupled guns with a high rate of fire). During the Second World War it was used as defensive armament on a number of German bombers and multirole aircraft.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, as they are fine and fragile. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before painting we recommend washing the surface lightly and applying a primer, then bringing the detail out with a metallic shade and a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is not meant for building a stand-alone model.
