1:48 Westland Sea King HC.4 one-sided express fit mask from the Art Scale brand is intended for painting a model of the Sea King assault helicopter in the HC.4 version.
Responsibility details are not available.
The masking sheet is cut for a model of the assault helicopter and helps keep sharp lines around the cockpit windows and the other clear areas, of which this machine has a good many. According to the name it is the one-sided variant, which in this line covers only one face of the glazing.
The Sea King HC.4 was the assault and transport equivalent of the well-known anti-submarine helicopter. It was created at Westland in Britain under a license for an American design, and it is told from its naval siblings by the absence of the side sponsons on the fuselage and by its fixed landing gear. Machines nicknamed Junglie carried troops, materiel and supplies, made their mark in 1982 in the South Atlantic and stayed in British service until 2016.
Wipe the glazing with spirit and let it air so that no greasy film is left on the surface. Lay the parts down from the largest to the smallest, pressing each from the middle out to the edges. Spray the paint in several passes: a thin coat holds the edge, a thick one rounds it off. If a shade does get under the film after all, correct the line with a pointed toothpick before the paint hardens. Check the edges around the sliding doors as well.
