The Spitfire Mk.VIII/Mk.IX seat 1:24 is a resin 3D-printed accessory from Eduard for superdetailing a cockpit. It is not an airplane kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This accessory is a resin, directly 3D-printed pilot's seat for models of Spitfire fighters of the later versions in 1:24 scale. It is a replacement detail from the Brassin range, not a kit of the whole aircraft. The seat takes the place of the plastic part out of the box and brings finer pressings, thinner walls and sharper detail.
In the large 1:24 scale the seat is a prominent feature of an open cockpit. 3D printing makes it possible to render the shell, the pierced edges and the mounting realistically, which cannot come across in plastic. Once painted and completed with belts, it lifts the impression of the whole interior markedly.
Clean any remains of printing off the part, separate it gently from the printing supports and bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend a base of primer, shading with shades of interior green and dry highlighting of the edges. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The package holds the resin accessory only. Paints, glue, belts and the base model are not part of it.
