This accessory is a set of resin, directly 3D printed exhaust stacks with rounded outlets (three-stacks) for the Spitfire Mk.V fighter in 1:72 scale. It is a replacement detail from the Brassin range, not an aircraft kit. The version with rounded outlets differs from the fishtail one.
The exhausts are a conspicuous feature on the fuselage beside the engine. The 3D printed stacks have open outlets and thin walls that cannot be made in plastic. Painted in burnt and rusty shades they bring the engine section markedly to life.
Clean the parts, separate them from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend dark metallic shades with a brownish and rusty cast and fine pigments. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The package contains the resin accessory only. Paints, glue and the base model are not included.
