Taisan STP GT-R is a kit of the racing Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR32 in Group A specification for the 1992 season of the Japanese touring car championship, in 1:24.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Japanese brand Hasegawa offers in this box the racing form of the Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR32 as it started in 1992 in the JTC series. The body is injection-molded in black plastic, and decals with the sponsor scheme and self-adhesive stencils for the glazing are enclosed, which make the crisp outlining of the window frames easier.
The Skyline GT-R of the BNR32 generation came about with a clear goal: to dominate the Group A category. The twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder RB26DETT and all-wheel drive with the ATTESA E-TS system made it a machine that dominated the Japanese touring car championship completely for several seasons. The car supported by the Taisan brand was among the private entries that could measure themselves against the works teams.
A black base is rewarding but merciless toward unevenness: it pays to sand the body with fine paper before the finish and to spray a filler primer. Seat the sponsor decals on a gloss intercoat and, once dry, seal them with a flatter overcoat depending on how well preserved you want the car to look. Flatten the tires slightly, otherwise they look unnaturally rubbery.
The parts are supplied unpainted, and the package contains no glue or paints.
