A set of four small parts imitating the pressure bottle of a racing car's built-in fire extinguishing system, in 1:24 scale. Type 02 is the second of the shape renderings the manufacturer has in this line, so it can be chosen according to how the system looks in the particular car. It is not a kit but a detail accessory for the build.
Fire extinguishing systems differ in the shape of the bottle, in the mounting and in where they are stowed. A model built from a photograph of a particular car therefore calls for the corresponding shape, otherwise a detail is added but does not fit. That is exactly why the manufacturer offers several renderings, chosen according to the real car and not according to what happens to be at hand.
Cut the parts off with a new blade on a hard surface and work over a box. Paint the bottle in a saturated color and suggest the inscriptions with a fine brush. Emphasize the clamps and mounting straps in a darker shade. The piping to the nozzles can be added with thin wire run along the frame. They are glued with super glue dosed with a pin; an ordinary drop is too much for a part this small.
The set is supplied on its own; the model and the paints are not included in the package.
