This injection-molded plastic kit catches the German Panther medium tank in the Ausf. A version in 1:56 scale, which matches the figures used for tabletop wargames. Thanks to the lower number of parts the kit builds quickly and works well both for a diorama and for the gaming table. In the box you will find the hull and turret parts and decals for finishing the markings.
The Panzerkampfwagen V Panther is among the best-known tanks of the Second World War. It came about as an answer to the Soviet T-34 and KV-1, which had outclassed the older German types on the Eastern Front. It was powered by a Maybach V12 engine of around 700 horsepower, and its main weapon was the long 75 mm KwK 42 gun, which stood out for its penetration and its accuracy at long range. The Ausf. A version belongs to the middle production series.
Glue the parts with cement for plastic and clean up the joints of the running gear and the hull. Lay on a primer before painting; the characteristic late-war German camouflage is well served by shading and then a patina of mud and dust with washes and pigments. Finish the running gear and any interior before you close the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
