Stir the contents of the container properly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom while it stands. Test how it behaves in a mix with paints of other brands on an unwanted piece of plastic, not straight on the model. Apply in thin coats and let each one set; one heavy coat will flood fine detail and dries unevenly.
Wash and degrease the surface of the model before painting. Fingerprints on smooth plastic only stand out under the paint, when it is too late to put them right. A base coat will unify a surface made up of different materials and will show unsanded seams in good time. Stick masking tape onto a dry coat before you spray the next shade and take it off carefully, so that it does not tear the edge away with it. Close the container immediately after work and keep it dry and away from frost.
