Masking set 1:72 Sikorsky H-19 / HO4S-3 / Whirlwind HAS.7 (Peewit)

This is a set of self-adhesive masking templates from the Czech maker Peewit, intended to cover the glazing and the canopy frames while spraying a model of the Sikorsky H-19 helicopter (and its naval and British versions) in 1:72 scale. The masks are die-cut from thin masking film exactly to the shape of the windows of a particular plastic kit, so the slow job of cutting adhesive tape by hand is no longer needed.

Use

• Lift the individual masks carefully off the sheet with tweezers and apply them to the matching glazing.
• Press the edges down carefully so that no paint can run under them.
• Spray the canopy frame with an airbrush or a brush; remove the masks before the paint has dried completely.
• The open areas of glazing can be covered with masking fluid or tape before spraying.
