The white number two belongs to the cars Maserati puts into its Performance Experience program. It is not a racing special for a world championship but a production coupe prepared for the circuit, where customers try out its possibilities under the eye of instructors. From there come the race number on the doors and the color stripes led across the nose and the flanks.
The marque from Modena returned among the supercars with it in 2020. The Nettuno V6 of three liters uses pre-chamber ignition taken over from circuit units and gives 630 horses. A shell of carbon fiber keeps the weight low, the doors open upward and a hundred falls in under three seconds.
The body is metal, the accessories and the interior plastic, the tires rubber. The printing of the race number and the lines is printed, not applied as a decal, so it has no visible edges. The model measures around seven centimeters, stands on a plastic base and a transparent cover protects it. The front grille with the trident, the radiator meshes and the headlights are set in as separate parts, so they keep their depth even after scaling down. The box has straight edges and can be stacked, which comes in useful with larger collections.
