IONIC Tombstone Yellow

AMMO IONIC Tombstone Yellow: acrylic paint for figures (20 ml)

IONIC Tombstone Yellow is a single bottle from the new IONIC Smart Colors line of miniature paints by AMMO (Mig Jimenez). It is a non-toxic acrylic thinnable with water or with the line's own thinner. The shade is a light yellowish tone: a pale color with a hint of old bone and stone, suited to gravestones, bones and weathered surfaces, and to lighting up ocher paints from below.

Properties and use

The paint has high covering power and a saturated pigment and dries to a thin, even layer without brush marks. Thanks to its self-leveling behavior and a balanced matte finish it layers well and works for brightening darker ocher and beige shades. It is applied with a brush or an airbrush. The volume is 20 ml, with a dropper cap and a steel mixing ball inside.

Painting tips

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
• Use it as the light tone when layering bone and stone.
• Thin it slightly for the airbrush; with a brush apply several thin coats.

Who it is for

• Painters of fantasy and historical miniatures
• Modelers painting bones, gravestones and weathered surfaces
• Beginners and experienced modelers alike, thanks to the easy application

The paint is water-thinnable and non-toxic. Keep it out of the reach of children and make sure there is ventilation when airbrushing.
