The book from the Armáda publishing series (volume 16) by the author Radomir Zavadil maps the origin of the first Czechoslovak military off-road cars with drive to all four wheels. It describes how in 1937 the military administration approached the domestic car makers with a requirement for special off-road passenger vehicles, and it deals with the answer of the makers Tatra, Ceskoslovenska zbrojovka and Jawa in the years from roughly 1936 to 1938.
