Exotic Decals 1:48 Bf 110 C-5, Enemy Aircraft Circus is a set of waterslide decals with the markings of a captured German Messerschmitt Bf 110 C-5 heavy fighter, W.Nr. 2177.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set contains good-quality waterslide decals in 1:48 scale, bringing the markings for one particular captured Messerschmitt Bf 110 C-5 (Werknummer 2177). It is not a model of an aircraft but a set of markings to add to your own kit of the corresponding type and scale. The decals are printed with sharp outlines and good color registration.
The Bf 110 was a German twin-engine heavy fighter and fighter-bomber; the C-5 version served as a reconnaissance conversion with a camera. Captured enemy machines were operated by Allied units for technical evaluation and demonstration flights, so that crews would learn to recognize enemy aircraft. Machines like these, with an unusual mixture of original and newly applied markings, tend to be an attractive subject for modelers.
Cut the decal out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it releases from the backing. Apply it onto a clean gloss coat; a decal softener will improve how it settles and adheres. Once dry, go over it with a matte or gloss clear coat according to the look you want.
The package contains decals only. The model itself, paints and glue are not part of it.
