New Ware MiG-21 F-13 ADVANCED Kabuki masks 1:48 are kabuki masks for spraying the outside and the inside of the canopy, the clear parts and the wheels of the early MiG-21 fighter.

A set of self-adhesive painting masks of kabuki paper (washi tape) in 1:48 scale from New Ware. The ADVANCED range goes beyond the basic set: besides the outside of the canopy hood it also holds masks for the inside and for the color of the frame sealing, plus the remaining clear parts and the wheels. The masks are machine cut to the shape of the parts of the MiG-21 F-13 model.
The MiG-21 F-13 (Fishbed-C) was one of the first production versions of the legendary Soviet supersonic fighter. This single-seat day frontline fighter with a delta wing came about at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s and became one of the most widespread jet aircraft in history, flown by dozens of countries.
Mask the degreased clear parts in layers: first the interior of the frames, then the exterior color. With masks on both sides of the hood you get a realistic look to the glazing seen from outside and from inside alike. Mask the remaining areas with scraps of tape and take the masks off once the paint has dried.
This is a mask set, not a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
