A Soviet Army dining set, Second World War, in 1:35 scale from Firma49, a resin accessory for bringing dioramas and scenes with Red Army soldiers to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory from Firma49 brings the dining and messing equipment of the Soviet Army of the Second World War in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle kit and not a figure but a set of small accessories that will give a diorama or a scene with Red Army soldiers the authentic atmosphere of eating in the field.
Supply and feeding in the field were an important side of how the Red Army worked. Mess tins, dishes, mugs and other small utensils are a rewarding element of scenes capturing soldiers resting or taking a break between actions. In 1:35 scale these details markedly raise the credibility of a whole scene.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Metal items are worth painting in a dark metal shade and adding a wash and a fine patina. Wood and enameled dishes come to life with glazes and discreet scuffs, so that the set does not look factory new.
This is an accessory set, not a model in its own right. Figures, vehicles, paints and glue are not included in the package.
