A Soviet army dining set of the Second World War in 1:72 scale by Firma49, a resin accessory for dioramas and scenes with Red Army soldiers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin accessory by Firma49 brings the dining and messing equipment of the Soviet army from the period of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. It is neither a kit nor a figure but a set of small accessories that, in a small scale, bring a diorama with Red Army soldiers to life with the atmosphere of field messing.
Field messing was an everyday but telling side of life in the Red Army. Mess tins, dishes and small utensils are a rewarding detail in scenes showing soldiers at rest. In 1:72 scale the set suits compact dioramas and the vehicles and figures of that size.
Wash the small parts, separate them from the casting blocks and glue them with super glue. At so small a scale, tweezers and patience help. Paint the metal items in a dark metal shade with a wash and lift the other parts with glazes; overdone weathering would needlessly swamp the small shapes in 1:72.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. Figures, vehicles, paints and glue are not included in the package.
