The Panzerbüchse 39 in 1:72 scale is a resin set of the German anti-tank rifle for refining military models and figure scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detail accessory in 1:72 scale by the Czech maker Firma49. It is NOT a vehicle model or a kit: it is a weapon on its own, meant to complete figures, dioramas or the interiors and loads of military models. The casting captures the characteristic shape of the German anti-tank rifle with its long barrel and folding bipod.
The Panzerbüchse 39 was a German anti-tank rifle in 7.92 mm caliber used from the end of the 1930s and in the first years of the Second World War. It fired single rounds at a high muzzle velocity and was effective against light armor at shorter ranges; as tank armor grew thicker it gradually lost its importance. Thanks to its striking silhouette it is a rewarding element in infantry combat scenes.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks carefully and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Laying a primer under the metal and wooden parts and then bringing them up in shades of blued steel and dark wood, with a fine wash to emphasize the detail, works well.
It is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
