Ammunition for the 7.5 cm PaK 40 in 1:35 scale (PANZER ART SU35-030)

A resin set of artillery ammunition in 1:35 scale from the Polish brand PANZER ART, the manufacturer's part number SU35-030. It is not a model of the gun and not a kit: it is an accessory for dressing up a firing position, the bed of a vehicle or a display case with a finished model. The manufacturer lists it in its ammunition line, separate from the older sets of empty cartridge cases for the same weapon.

The real subject

The 7.5 cm PaK 40 was the main German towed anti-tank gun from 1942 and remained so until the end of the war. It was built in the thousands, appeared in self-propelled mountings as well, and its round belongs to the same family as those of the tank guns of the same caliber. The cartridge case of the PaK 40 is markedly longer, however, so the ammunition for the towed gun and for the tank version is not interchangeable with each other.

• Filling out the firing position of the gun, the ammunition boxes and the crew
• A load on the bed of a tractor, a half-track vehicle or a trailer
• Wash the parts free of mold release agent residue before gluing and cut the sprue gates away carefully
• Glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue; solvent cement for plastic does not hold on it
• The brass of the cartridge cases comes out on a metallic base, and the shell tips are painted separately
