Eduard 1:700 Bismarck is a set of photo-etched parts for refining a model of the German battleship Bismarck.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of photo-etched parts in 1:700 scale from the Eduard brand is not a stand-alone model but an accessory for raising the detail of a model of the German battleship Bismarck. It adds fine metal items such as railings, ladders, radar antennas and other parts of the superstructure, which are hard to cast in plastic.
Bismarck was a German battleship of the Second World War and one of the largest and most heavily armed ships of her day. She became famous for significant naval engagements in the Atlantic in 1941. Her silhouette with its massive gun turrets is among the iconic ones.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape the railings and ladders under a ruler and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. It is advisable to work with tweezers and, when varnishing the railings, to use an airbrush for an even coat. The model can be finished on a stand or in the waterline version.
This is a photo-etched detail accessory, not the model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
