A color photo-etched set of figures from the Czech manufacturer Eduard. These are not resin or plastic figures but precise color-printed photo-etched parts from thin sheet metal. They serve to people the decks of models of Kriegsmarine warships of the Second World War in 1:700 scale. Thanks to the pre-printed colors the figures can be used straight away, with no need for fiddly painting.
A photo-etched sheet with small figures of sailors in various poses, finished in color. The figures are separated from the fret, formed where needed and glued onto the model's deck. Given the small 1:700 scale this is work that calls for a steady hand and tweezers.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or photo-etch scissors on a hard surface. Use a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate) to attach them to the model. Once in place, the color print can be sealed lightly with a matte varnish.
This is an accessory to a model, not a standalone kit. The base model is not included in the package.
