A painted figure of a legionary in 1:6 scale from Meng, supplied including a base. Meant for display, not for building.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a figure in 1:6 scale, that is, in one of the largest sizes used in modeling. For an adult human figure that means a finished piece roughly thirty centimeters tall, so the modeling of the face, the hands and the small parts of the gear comes into its own. According to its name the figure represents a legionary, and it is supplied painted, together with a base.
The package holds the figure and the base it stands on. The painting is done in production, so once it is unpacked you need not touch up anything or hunt for shades. That sets the product apart from ordinary modeling figures, which come in parts and ready to paint.
In a large scale every layer of dust shows, so the best place is a glazed display case. Avoid direct sunlight, which takes the depth out of the colors, and places with wide swings in humidity. Take the dust off the figure with a soft brush, dry, not with a cloth, so as not to scuff the edges and the fine transitions. When carrying it, hold the figure by the base, not by the arms or the gear.
It will be appreciated by collectors of large figures and by anyone who wants a finished display piece without building and painting. A display case, lighting and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
