A set of tiny injection-molded plastic helicopters of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) in 1:700 scale from the Japanese brand Aoshima. Note: this is not a standalone aircraft model but an accessory meant to bring the deck and the hangar of ship models (helicopter destroyers, helicopter carriers and other surface vessels) in the same scale to life. The set, from the Waterline range, holds several types of shipboard helicopters – the SH-60K, MCH-101, MH-53E and UH-60J, for example. The parts are simple and easy to build.
The set will be appreciated by builders of ship models in 1:700 scale who want to add a faithful shipboard air component to their vessels, and by builders of naval dioramas. Thanks to the simplicity of the parts it suits less experienced modelers as well.
This is an accessory for ship models. Glue, paints and the base ship are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
