A resin detail set for experienced modelers, intended for A-4 Skyhawk models in the Israeli Air Force (IDF) version in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory: it replaces the simplified plastic nozzle with a faithful casting with a deepened, finely shaped jet duct and vanes.
The exhaust nozzle is the most conspicuous detail at the tail of a jet aircraft. A resin casting adds the depth and structure that a split plastic nozzle usually leaves flat or incomplete. Israeli Skyhawks (the Ayit) had a different arrangement at the tail, and the set helps to capture that look faithfully.
Wash the part to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting block and clean up the opening. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand it with your airways protected. Paint the inside of the nozzle in metallic and burnt shades and pick the recesses out with a dark wash: the nozzle then looks worn and realistic.
This is a resin accessory set, not a complete kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
