This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from AZ model represents the American Bell AH-1G HueyCobra attack helicopter. It is a short-run model with engraved surface detail and cabin glazing. It is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit.
The AH-1G was the first production attack helicopter of the US Army. It drew on the proven power system of the UH-1 helicopter, but received a slender fuselage with a tandem two-seat cabin, which improved its toughness and reduced its frontal cross-section. It was deployed above all during the Vietnam War in support of ground forces.
With a short-run kit, reckon on cleaning the parts up and on dry-fitting. Glue the joints with liquid cement for plastic, and the glazing only after the paints have been sprayed. Apply a primer; the slender fuselage is rewarding for an airbrush and for bringing out the panel lines with a wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
