This is a resin accessory for dioramas, vehicles and interiors, not a model. The set contains American ammunition boxes for the .50 (12.7 mm) Browning machine gun in 1:72 scale. The parts are printed from resin on a 3D printer and faithfully capture the shape of the sheet metal boxes and their catches.
Ammunition boxes give a scene scale and conviction, whether you place them around a gun, on the bed of a vehicle or in a trench. They are among the universal accessories that bring American and Allied dioramas to life even in a smaller scale.
Given how small the parts are in this scale, proceed carefully. Before separating them from the supports, dip the parts in hot water; the resin softens slightly and does not chip. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a filler primer before painting and bring the parts to life with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
