1:72 AV-8B Wheels is a set of resin wheels for the AV-8B Harrier II attack aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand Brengun. It replaces the wheels of a kit with castings with a finer tread and well-worked hubs. The set is intended for the Hasegawa kit.

This set from the Czech brand Brengun offers a simple way to raise the level of detail on the landing gear of an AV-8B Harrier II model. The resin wheel castings have a crisper tire tread and more finely executed hubs than the two-part plastic wheels from a kit usually offer - and the awkward cleaning up of the seam between the halves is avoided too. It is not a model in its own right but an accessory intended to be built into a kit in 1:72 scale; we recommend checking compatibility with your particular kit before buying. The set is cut for the Hasegawa kit.
The AV-8B Harrier II is an American attack aircraft with vertical, or rather short, take-off and landing, used above all by the US Marine Corps. One point of interest is the tandem layout of the landing gear: the main and the nose leg both lie on the centerline of the fuselage, and stability on the ground is provided by small outrigger wheels under the wings. The landing gear is therefore conspicuous on the Harrier and even informed viewers like to look at it.
Wash the wheels to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the cut - use respiratory protection while sanding. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires a dark gray-black rather than pure black, and the hubs according to the documentation for the machine; a dark wash will bring the fine tread out beautifully.
This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
