A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the engine cowlings with correctly shaped resin parts. This is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone accessory that raises the fidelity of a finished build.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. It was powered by four radial engines placed in nacelles on the wing, covered by characteristic engine cowlings.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Check that they seat precisely on the engine nacelles before gluing. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
