A resin detail set, not an airplane kit. This finely cast resin set replaces the machine gun barrels of the American twin-engine North American B-25 Mitchell medium bomber in the B-25B version, in 1:72 scale. It was the B-25B version that became famous for the raid on Tokyo in 1942. The castings have a faithful, straight profile with suggested muzzles of a kind that is hard to create in the plastic from the box. The set is intended for more advanced modelers with resin experience.
Machine gun barrels at the gun positions are very much in view on a finished model and their slender shape decides the overall impression. The resin castings are finer and straighter than the thicker plastic parts and replace them with no laborious cleaning up. Once painted in metal shades they look entirely faithful.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
