A set of 200 liter drums in 1:72 scale. They suit airfield and military scenes, where they fill the open space between models.
Responsibility details are not available.
Drums of 200 liters accompanied military and civilian vehicles throughout the twentieth century. They served for transporting and storing fuels, oils and other liquids, and stood in rows at airfield posts, at depots and on the beds of supply trucks.
A small scale tempts you toward wider scenes, and that is exactly where drums are most useful. In groups they fill the open space between models, they suggest the supply corner of an airfield or the back of a workshop, and their regular shape gives the composition rhythm. A real drum stands about ninety centimeters tall, which in 1:72 scale works out at a little over one centimeter.
Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and then level the surface with fine sandpaper. Choose the glue and the exact procedure according to the manufacturer's instructions.
The set is intended for modelers who build dioramas and display scenes in 1:72 scale, whether around aircraft or around ground vehicles. Unless stated otherwise, the paints, the glue and the vehicle model are not part of the delivery.
