Bellanca CH-400 Skyrocket 1:72 is an injection-molded plastic kit with photo-etched parts and masks, capturing an American multipurpose aircraft of the 1930s.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the manufacturer Dora Wings in 1:72 scale. The package contains gray as well as clear plastic sprues, photo-etched parts, a decal sheet and masking film; the decals offer three variants of markings. It is a nicely worked model of a less usual subject.
The Bellanca CH-400 Skyrocket was an American high-wing monoplane of the 1930s, a six-seat multipurpose aircraft powered by a Pratt and Whitney Wasp radial engine. A few pieces were bought by the US Navy; one served the Marines as a flying ambulance, another for radio research.
Cut the parts off with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. The enclosed masks make painting the glazing easier, and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Apply a base coat before painting; with glossy civilian schemes a smooth finish and gloss clear under the decals help.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
