Rob Taurus Bf-109 F 1:72 is a vacuum-formed clear canopy for models of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109F Friedrich fighter. It is not a model, but a thin-walled replacement cockpit canopy.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package contains a vacuum-formed (vacuform) clear canopy in 1:72 scale for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F. It is not an aircraft kit, but a stand-alone accessory. The clear, thin-walled material replaces the part from the box and improves both the clarity and the view into the cockpit. The way the parts are divided usually makes it possible to display the canopy in the open position as well.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109F, nicknamed the Friedrich, was the aerodynamically cleaned-up version of the famous German fighter of the Second World War, and one prized by many pilots. Against the early Emil series it received more rounded shapes and revised cockpit glazing. The divided canopy with its frames is a prominent feature on a model.
Cut the canopy out with a small margin, sand the edge precisely until it seats, and bond it with canopy glue for clear parts or with a minimum of super glue. Mask the frames before spraying and work carefully with the thin material so that it does not deform.
This is a modeling accessory, not a kit. Glue, paints and masks are not included in the package.
