This injection-molded plastic kit captures the German twin-engine Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighter in the C version. The model in 1:72 scale is made up of molded plastic parts, a decal sheet and instructions. The kit is meant to be assembled and painted; the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
The Bf 110 was conceived as a so-called Zerstörer, that is a heavy fighter with a long range and strong gun armament concentrated in the nose. It was powered by two inverted V12 engines and in the day fighter role it proved itself especially in the early phases of the war. Later it found use as a fighter-bomber, a reconnaissance machine and the basis for night fighters. The C variant was among the most widespread production forms.
Use a thin modeling cement for plastic on the joints of the plastic parts. Before painting we recommend spraying the surface with a primer, which unifies the base and brings out any shortcomings. It is a good idea to finish the cockpit and the interior before the fuselage is closed up. The camouflage comes out best laid on by airbrush, and the decals settle best onto a gloss varnish.
The model comes unassembled and unpainted. The glue, the paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
