About product

BR-250 (6 pcs) - 1:72, AMMO

A set of six 3D-printed resin aircraft bombs in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket accessory for arming finished models, not a model in its own right. The parts have fine surface detail on the case, the lugs and the fins.

The real subject

The BR-250 is a Spanish low-drag general-purpose aircraft bomb of roughly the 250 kg weight class made by Explosivos Alaveses (EXPAL). It was derived from the American Mark 80 series and was carried by a number of tactical aircraft, among them the Mirage, the F-5 and the A-4. It was used by the Spanish Air Force and by export operators.

Building and painting tips

Wash the print resin residue off the parts, cut them from the print supports and clean up the surfaces. They are bonded with super glue. We recommend an undercoat, an airbrush and bringing the detail out with a wash.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers of tactical aircraft in 1:72
  • Anyone after armament accurate to the period and the country
  • Builders used to working with resin

The set holds resin bomb parts only. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
