An accessory set with Brimstone guided missiles and the rack designated AGLM III for aircraft models in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
Brimstone is a British air-to-ground guided missile intended above all against ground targets, armored vehicles included. It is derived from the design of the American Hellfire missile, but it was given its own guidance system and it is built so that an aircraft can carry several rounds of it on a single rack. That is exactly what gives the load its characteristic look: instead of one massive missile, a cluster of slender cylindrical bodies hangs under the wing.
Brimstone missiles and the rack designated AGLM III in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the load from the kit, which tends to be simplified and split into halves, or it adds the armament where the base kit does not include it. How many pieces are in the package, which kit the set is drawn for and where exactly the load belongs on the wing are given in the manufacturer's instructions; photographs of the particular machine are a guide as well.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary plastic cement does not work on them; they are glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the surplus material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the rest away carefully, so that the seating surface stays flat and the load hangs vertically. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Paint the missiles separately, before you seat them in the rack, otherwise you will not reach the lower surfaces. Do the color bands on the missile bodies with a narrow mask rather than a brush, so that they stay sharp.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
