A plastic snap-fit set of figures of British infantry in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. The box contains five small figures and a base with a flag; the parts join without glue. The set belongs to the Art of Tactic game system and also serves as an addition to dioramas. The modeling is among the very good ones in this scale.
The figures capture the British infantryman of the Second World War in battledress and with the characteristic helmet. Early features of the kit, such as the gas mask bag on the chest, point rather to the early period of the war. British infantry in this form fought on many battlefields from Western Europe to North Africa.
The snap-fit parts only need to be joined; to be safe you can secure them with a drop of glue. Paint the battledress in khaki and brown tones, and pick out the kit and the helmet with a wash and a dry brush. In 1:72 go for a clean overall impression rather than an excess of detail.
The set is snap-fit (the parts join without glue), but it is supplied unpainted. Paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
