Responsibility details are not available.
The resin set from the brand Quickboost, made by Aires, brings accurately cast barrels for the wing machine guns for a model of the Curtiss P-40E Warhawk fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers that replaces the coarser plastic parts with thin and sharp castings for the leading edges of the wings.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American single-seat fighter of the Second World War powered by an Allison V12 engine. The P-40E version carried six heavy machine guns in the wings and fought on practically every theater, notably for example in the colors of the famous Flying Tigers unit.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that you remove the mold release residue from the mold. Cut the casting blocks off with a sharp saw or a knife and sand the cut surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary cement for plastic. Try the fit dry before painting; resin may call for a little cleaning up.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a plastic kit. Glue, paints and a base kit are not included in the package unless stated otherwise.
