This set is NOT a model of an aircraft but a resin accessory from Black Dog for a plastic kit of the Alenia C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft in 1:72 scale. It contains a pair of detailed engine sections (turboprop power units) with a faithful rendering of the nacelles and their internal layout. The set is intended for experienced modelers.
The C-27J is powered by two strong turboprop engines and their nacelles are a pronounced part of the wing silhouette. Precisely cast resin engines add realistic detail that kits in this scale usually simplify, and they are a rewarding feature on models with open panels.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding resin. Paint the intricate inner areas before the final assembly of the nacelles.
This is an accessory to a kit, not a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
