Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Canadian Chevrolet C60S recovery vehicle fitted with a Holmes workshop crane in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer IBG Models. The package offers two versions of the cab (Cab 11 and Cab 13), thread for winding the crane cables and decals for Canadian units. It is an interesting piece of support equipment that brings a different dimension to a diorama than a conventional combat vehicle.
The Chevrolet C60S belonged to the family of Canadian military trucks of the CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) type, built in large numbers by the Canadian division of General Motors in the Second World War to British requirements. The recovery version carried the twin-boom Holmes W-45 crane with two winches and served to tow and repair damaged or bogged-down vehicles with Allied, and above all Canadian, units.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies; finish the chassis and the frame of the crane before you close the body. With the thread supplied you can rig the winch cables for a realistic look. Apply a primer before painting and apply the paints with an airbrush. You can bring the olive green British and Canadian scheme to life with a wash in the recesses and dust pigments on the fenders and the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
