An injection-molded plastic kit of the Chinese heavy fighter J-11B from Trumpeter in 1:72 scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. For the exact package contents (the number of parts, decals, clear parts) go by the enclosed instructions.
The J-11B is the Chinese modernized version of a fighter derived from the Soviet Su-27 Flanker. It is a twin-engined heavy air superiority fighter with domestic avionics, radar and armament of Chinese production. It is marked by the characteristic aerodynamically clean fuselage with a space between the engine nacelles and by a large weapons load.
Finish the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage; with the twin-engined layout take care over the correct fit of the nacelles and the air intakes. Spray the base over primer; an airbrush and thinned paints are suitable for the blue-gray schemes of the Flankers. Pick out the panel lines with a thin wash, lay the decals onto gloss varnish and unify the surface with a semi-gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
