Gun barrels for the Defiant Mk.I 1:72 (Quickboost) is a resin aviation accessory in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Quickboost. It is not an aircraft model but a detail part. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of accurately cast resin barrels for 7.7 mm Browning machine guns for the British Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I turret fighter in 1:72 scale. It is an aftermarket detail part that replaces the coarser or thick-walled plastic barrels from a base kit, not a stand-alone aircraft model.
The Boulton Paul Defiant was a British two-seat fighter of the Second World War whose entire offensive armament was concentrated in a rotating dorsal gun turret with four 7.7 mm machine guns. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin V12 engine. In daytime combat it proved vulnerable, but it found its place as a night fighter.
Resin parts call for more careful work than plastic: first wash the mold release residue off them, separate them carefully from the casting block and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding and cutting small parts. Apply a primer before painting. The thin barrels are fragile, so separate them carefully; the guns come into their own once painted in a metal shade with the muzzles brought out finely.
The part is supplied as a resin accessory, unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base kit are not included in the package unless stated otherwise.
