Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the British four-engine airliner de Havilland DH.91 Albatross in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Valom. This variant represents the machine in its civil airline form. It is a short-run tooling intended for modelers interested in interwar air transport.
The de Havilland DH.91 Albatross was an elegant British four-engine airliner and mail plane of the late 1930s, famous for its aerodynamically clean wooden structure and its graceful lines. In civil service it flew European routes and represented one of the technically most advanced wooden aircraft of its day. Only a small number of machines were built.
With a short-run tooling, count on more careful cleanup of the parts and possibly filling the seams. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and the fine items with cyanoacrylate glue. The smooth, glossy surfaces of an airliner come out best after a primer and a gloss coat; protect the airline decals with a clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
