1:72 Douglas A-4M Skyhawk is a set of self-adhesive masking templates from Eduard in 1:72 scale, cut to fit the glazing and the wheels of the model.

This item is neither a kit nor a photo-etched set, but a set of masks: self-adhesive templates cut in advance into the shape of the cockpit frames and of the other areas that have to be covered while spraying. The modeler only peels them off, sticks them on and takes them off once the spraying is done. That saves the most tiresome part of the build, trimming masking tape by hand exactly along the frame of the glazing, where one slip of the knife is enough to scratch the clear part.
Eduard offers several kinds of set for the same aircraft, and it is worth knowing which one you are buying. Masks are cut films for covering the glazing and the wheels; photo-etched sets are metal parts for refining the interior and exterior; smaller pre-painted sets add mainly the instrument panel and the belts; bundles then bring several sets together. This item is precisely a set of masks. If you also want to mask the glazing from the inside, the manufacturer offers a double-sided version separately, which says so in its designation; this set is without it.
The A-4M was the last major production version of the light Skyhawk carrier attack aircraft, intended for the US Marine Corps. Compared with the earlier versions it received a more powerful engine, a larger cockpit with a better view and a more prominent hump behind the cockpit, in which the avionics were housed. The Skyhawk was a small and agile machine with a large load-carrying ability, which in 1:72 scale shows in the model being tiny but with a fairly rich external load.
Wash and polish the glazing before masking so that the film holds. Carry the templates with tweezers and press them down along the frames with a stick or a wooden toothpick. Spray the paint in thin coats, otherwise it will run under the edge of the mask. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has dried, not after weeks, and draw it along the surface rather than straight up.
