Eduard F-100C masks 1:72 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for a model of the American supersonic fighter F-100C Super Sabre. It gives you sharp paint edges on the glazing and the wheels. This is not a model but a masking aid.
Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:72 scale is meant for a plastic model of the American fighter F-100C Super Sabre. It is not a kit and not a model in its own right but a set of precisely shaped masks cut from thin yellow masking tape. The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want sharp frames on the cockpit canopy and a clean separation of tires from rims without laboriously cutting tape by hand.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre was an American supersonic fighter and the first American production aircraft able to pass the speed of sound in level flight. It had a swept wing and it served above all as a fighter-bomber. Among other things, the C version brought a larger fuel load and the ability to refuel in flight, which widened its range and its strike options.
Degrease the glazing before you apply the masks and let it dry. Lift the individual masks off the backing with tweezers and lay them on the canopy frames, press them into the edges and fill any gaps with a strip of tape. Spray the paint with an airbrush in two thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge of the mask. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains only the masks. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included unless stated otherwise.
