Machine gun barrels for the P-40B Warhawk in 1:48 scale are a resin detail set from the Quickboost (Aires) brand for faithful barrels on the fighter's armament.

A detailed resin set of machine gun barrels that replace the plastic parts of the base kit with thin, accurately cast barrels. It is NOT an aircraft model but an accessory to the base kit of the American Curtiss P-40 Warhawk fighter in the B version.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American fighter of the early Second World War. The P-40B version carried machine gun armament in the nose and in the wings; the barrels projecting from the leading edges are among its visible features. The type became known with the volunteer Flying Tigers group.
Cut the barrels off the casting blocks carefully, wash them free of mold release agent and glue them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate. Spray them in metal shades and, if you like, pick the muzzles out lightly.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and, as an aftermarket set, it calls for a more experienced hand. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
