A resin detail accessory from the Quickboost brand by Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but a pitot tube (the airspeed sensor) with which you replace the plastic part on the F-105 Thunderchief. The fine, slender casting is more faithful and more durable than a thin plastic molding.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American single-engine supersonic fighter-bomber. The pitot tube sensed the ram air pressure for measuring airspeed and was located in the forward part of the aircraft.
Wash the part free of mold release agent residues, separate the casting block carefully and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand with respiratory protection. Handle the slender tube carefully so that it does not bend.
The accessory is supplied as a resin part. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
