A resin detail set from Aires in 1:72 scale intended to raise the fidelity of the cockpit of the American F-15C Eagle fighter. This is not a model of the aircraft but an aftermarket accessory that replaces the plastic cockpit of a suitable kit with finely cast resin parts.
The F-15C Eagle is a single-seat fighter built to win air superiority. It stands out for a roomy cockpit with a good view and an instrument panel that pairs classic instruments with displays. On this type the cockpit is one of the markedly visible details.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the fit of the cockpit against the fuselage of the kit. The interior comes into its own once it is painted, the instruments are picked out and a fine wash is laid into the recesses.
This is a resin accessory. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
