Art Scale 1:72 F-15E in the double-sided version is a masking set for the outer and the inner side of the clear parts of a model of the two-seat combat aircraft.

A masking accessory for building a model in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer Art Scale. It differs from the single-sided variant of the same aircraft in that it contains masks for both sides of the clear part. You can therefore spray the canopy framing from inside in the interior shade of the cockpit and only then from outside in the top color of the airframe. On the long, well transparent canopy of a modern fighter this difference shows markedly on a finished model. It is not a kit or decals.
The F-15E is the two-seat multi-role version of the twin-engine F-15 aircraft, intended for strikes on ground targets while keeping its fighter capability. It is recognized by the tandem cockpit for a pilot and a weapon systems officer and by the conformal tanks that hug the sides of the fuselage. The cockpit is covered by a long continuous canopy with a minimum of framing and a good view, so once the model is finished the interior is very clearly visible and unfinished inner frames stand out.
Apply and spray the inner masks before you fit the canopy to the fuselage; later you can no longer reach the inner side. Always wash and degrease the clear part first. Seat the mask with tweezers along the frame, press it down with a soft tool along its whole length and trim any overhang with a fresh blade exactly along the outline. Before the shade itself, spray a thin sealing coat of base color which closes off the edges. Lay the coats on lightly and take the mask off once the paint has flashed off, pulling it slowly back over itself.
It is an accessory for a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
