This plastic kit in 1:72 scale from UM contains the Soviet three-axle GAZ-AAA truck and the ZIS-2 anti-tank gun. The model is molded in injected plastic and supplemented with photo-etch, rubber tires and clear film for the windows. The combination can be displayed with the gun deployed in a firing position, or hitched behind the truck.
The GAZ-AAA was a widespread Soviet truck with 6x4 drive that served for carrying troops and materiel and for towing guns. The 57 mm ZIS-2 anti-tank gun was among the effective Soviet weapons able to punch through even thicker armor. The gun was moved by towing it behind a vehicle and was deployed into a firing position for action.
Assemble the truck and the gun separately; take care over cleaning up the small parts of the chassis and the carriage. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and the photo-etch with cyanoacrylate glue. After spraying a uniform green, bring the whole thing to life with a wash, pigments on the wheels and a light dusting of the chassis.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
