This is a small accessory set, not an airplane model. It holds a resin underwing auxiliary fuel tank for models of the British Hawker Hurricane fighter in 1:72 scale.
Drop tanks extended the range of Hurricanes on long-range intruder sorties, that is fighter sweeps and attacks on ground targets deep behind enemy lines. The casting offers a clean shape with no seam and fine surface detail, so it looks more faithful than a two-part plastic item.
Wash the tank to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting block and clean it up; bond it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Check the position of the mounting under the wing before fitting. The surface takes light weathering and picked-out panel lines well.
This is a resin accessory set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
